What a weekend! Our Star Trek summit was bursting with laughter, photos, and the kind of joyful nerdy energy that makes you feel instantly at home. Hosted by our local USS Kitty Hawk fan club, it was a celebration of friendship, fandom, and boldly going together—one unforgettable moment at a time.

A Weekend to Remember
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt like stepping onto a starship—welcoming, buzzing, and full of possibility. Between meetups, photo ops, and spontaneous hallway conversations, the camaraderie was the real main event. The venue gave us plenty of space to gather, explore, and keep running into familiar faces (and brand-new friends). What made this summit truly special was how the USS Kitty Hawk crew turned a shared love of Star Trek into a weekend that felt like family.

Boldly Going in Style
Let’s talk costumes—because wow. Attendees showed up in their finest Star Trek looks, from crisp uniforms to creative character-inspired outfits that stopped us in our tracks. The dedication, detail, and confidence on display made every hallway feel like a mini red carpet for the final frontier. Cheers to all Ships represented and a safe journey home.
Breaking Bread with Fellow Trekkies
Some of the best moments happened around the table. Sharing meals gave us time to swap stories, compare favorite episodes, and laugh over the little moments that only fellow fans truly understand. Whether it was a quick bite between activities or a longer sit-down chat, the food was great—but the conversations were even better.

The Crew of the USS Kitty Hawk
None of this would have been possible without the heart and hustle of the USS Kitty Hawk organizers—and the incredible attendees who brought the summit to life. Every smile, helping hand, and friendly introduction reminded us that this club is more than a group; it’s a community. The friendships we strengthen (and the new ones we spark) are the kind of “mission success” that lasts long after the weekend ends.
As we pack away badges, costumes, and camera rolls full of memories, we’re already looking ahead to the next adventure. The spirit of Star Trek—hope, curiosity, and connection—was everywhere this weekend, and it’s something we’ll carry with us until we meet again. Until next time, friends: Live Long and Prosper.
